I went to the warehouse to get my own bag since there was no urgency. It’s that compounded with everything else. I had to sleep in a freezing airport. It’s Thursday and I was supposed to be home on Tuesday. But have been constantly delayed since then.

@AkimMonique Crazy! But they were looking at me like I was crazy! I didn’t come to Newark for a vacation 🤷🏽♀️ the least they could do was take care of the hotel tonight.
So let’s recap. I came for a quick flight that turned into 3 days, lost my bags AND had to buy new clothes and I’ll have to pay for a hotel or sleep in a chair. This is amazing customer service @americanair
They said they couldn’t offer anything because it was related to air traffic control. So looks like I’ll either have to pay for a hotel or sleep in an airport. Thanks @americanair for the worst travel experience of my life.
So when it’s time to go, @americanair is offering a new flight “free of charge” to make it sound all nice🙄 I saw with the delay that I was gonna miss my connection. I decided to stay the night so I won’t get stuck.
Then I see overnight that my bag was at the baggage claim so I checked with the hotel to see if it came and it didn’t. So I went to the airport and they already shipped the bag offsite! I was literally staying at a hotel attached to the airport.
Ok, fine. Nothing I can do so I filled out the form and headed to the mall to get clothes for my meeting since @AmericanAir lost my bag. I’m only here for a day so I’ll make the best.
Let me tell yall how terrible my experience on @AmericanAir has been. I landed and immediately got an email saying my bag was delayed. A polite way of saying lost.
