@SarahBireete@KagutaMuseveni Sarah Birete & all questioning what gains Karamoja and Northern Uganda have to protect now going into the future, please do not forget Peace! You have taken peace for granted. You are not in sync with those Ugandans. No peace without development, No development without Peace.
@Nsababera_juju Thank you, Ambassador Nsababera Juju for a job well done. We in Karamoja part of Uganda are eagerly waiting for the investor you briefed us recently. We pray that God keeps you and continues to bless you with wisdom & energy to increase investments, secure markets for our goods.
@Mwesigwa_R@EllyKaruhanga Hon. Mwesigwa Robert. Thank you for visiting my good friend Hon. Elly Karuhanga put a smile on his face. It is always warm seeing young leaders remember to say thank you. Particularly sewing back a seed to the hands that helped them rise to positions of power and influence. Viva
@faithchuna1@Parliament_Ug Hon. Faith Nakut, keep it up. Just ignore distractions of some who don't seem to know distinctive roles of Parliament as opposed to the roles of the Executive branches of Government. Some are Advertising ignorance here without educating themselves on how Parliament works.
@faithchuna1@Parliament_Ug Congratulations Hon. Faith Nakut C. I liked your submissions on pertinent issues at the regional Sitting of Parliament as screened on TV. I was encouraged by your articulate & powerfully convincing presentation on livestock development & compulsory and free Education for kja.
Last Sunday 11th August , I spent a cool evening with Gen . Otafire Minister internal affairs, with the woman MP of Amudat Hon Betty Chepokorial, and former LC 5 Chairperson of Amudat-Hon Francis Kiyonga Adamson. We discussed issues of Karamoja in general and most also on Amudat.
Today we held a strategic meeting at Gulu university main campus .
Together with the deputy Vice chancellor prof.David Owiny , Deputy university secretary mr.obalim and counsel severino. The main issue discussed was the progress of Gulu constituent college in Moroto.
Yesterday, at State House Entebbe I took questions from graduating officers from the Senior Command and Staff College, Kimaka. In answering their concerns which revolved around defective ideological positions like ethnic antagonism, regional instability, and local parochialism, I shared the NRM’s principles and how we have been able to manage growth and development.
I also urged them to safeguard their economies against the Politics of identity which undermines national unity in many of these African countries but is also responsible for the failure of national institutions like the building of a strong army.
I congratulate them on the completion of the course.
On behalf of @MAAIF_Uganda l today handed over 3 million doses of FMD vaccines to 27 Districts at the National Animal Diseases Diagnostic Epidemiology Center NADDEC in Entebbe.
The vaccines procured from Egypt will support the Districts that reported outbreaks

Gov. Simon Kachapin hosted Governors Jeramiah Lomorukai (Turkana) and Wisley Rotich (Elgeyo Marakwet), and I for tea at his official residence. When leaders come together they set the right tone for the people to follow. Kalya, Ekisil, Amani, Peace, Shalom 💪
@faithchuna1 Wonderful articulation Hon. Faith. I appreciate your leadership & help in breaking the silence. True! we men can support our female staff, and we husbands and fathers can support our spouses and daughters to make homes and work places fit, safe and supportive of women & gals .
Karamoja spends between 25-50 billion shillings annually on beer and illegal waragi. With over 54% of Karimojongs consuming alchohol compared to the national average is close to 14% (UNHS 2017). Thousands quietly die annually due to this scourge.
It was a wonderful day, full of celebration and deep learning. For the youth who joined this experience-sharing visit, some of whom had never traveled out of Karamoja it was a memory that will stick with them for the rest of their lives.
Bravo.
#LubiriMengo.Received on behalf of @HajjatMinsa(Min for K’la) a delegation of Visitors from Karamoja & Hoima who are on a study tour in Kampala. They came to learn from the developmental strategies of Kampala City. The group was led by David Pulkol/@MzeeDP(fmr Director general ESO)
As I am sure you know very well, I have never been involved in corruption scandals or land grabbing and have for a long time been deeply involved in community development, youth mentorship, and peace and security in Karamoja as well as in the rest of Uganda.
Ndugu General @sejudav , long time.
Perhaps you were misinformed about my statements. The factory site is 221 acres, where Moroto District will be the first district in Uganda's history to own shares in a factory. I do not know where your figure of 88.5sqkm has come from.
So my young brother D. Pulkol says the Cement producing Company they are promoting in karamoja has already procured over 88.5sq km👇&he says karamoja has over 50 different minerals. Which is true. My question is;What happens to the pple living on the 88.5sq km?And elsewhere?
I and others such as Dr. Robert Limlim, @r_achia , @lojokotau , @KiimaTooma , @theovos have been hard at work developing sustainable development policies, to put the ordinary Karimojong at the center of mineral, tourism, and agricultural developments instead of at the periphery.
