Have you ever felt pressure to just keep adding new exercises every time someone comes in to see you?
I have, too, but over time I realized that it's not about mixing it up just to make sure they're not bored with their program. It's more important to actually get better and stronger at those exercises. That takes repetitions.
It's not uncommon for me at Champion to keep patients on the same program anywhere from three to six weeks. They need to get stronger and better at those exercises before we just randomly progress them to the next.
Remembering Hallam, 20 years later - May 22, 2004.
On this day, an F4 tornado ruined many lives in Hallam, Nebraska. It was the widest tornado in U.S. history (2.5 miles) until El Reno in 2013. One life was lost, with 38 injured. 5 counties were declared national disaster areas.
