This 76 year old women in Ethiopia just gave birth to a baby boy, so @Arsenal get your shit together we got a title to win. 2025 is a year of miracles.
@tabuteauS Well, there is a Premier League team that's suddenly in need of centre back reinforcement. The only London club offering Champions League nights also happens to have an excellent relationship with Chelsea when it comes to doing business, so... ๐
@Gooneropolis Yeah, I just thought we were gonna go all out for both Rogers and Barcola. Doesn't look like that's happening now, though, with us going for Bruno, a Saliba cover, and a backup RB. On top of that, the รlvarez rumors are still raging. Let's wait and see how we finish the window.
Don't really know how to feel about this. I'm fine with it if he's just a backup, but I was hoping we'd blow the budget on the forwards and really go all out. Guess not. ๐ญ
๐จ Arsenal reach agreement with Club Brugge to sign Christos Tzolis. Deal for 24yo left winger done at โฌ40m asking price set by #ClubBrugge. Move in process of being finalised - Greece international wanted & prioritised #AFC move throughout @TheAthleticFC https://t.co/iYMBAjVc3k
@fkhanage Gabriel & Stones, who's sweeping up? Gabi isn't quite the recovery monster Saliba is, and you can't expect Stones to sprint back 40 yards every game without combusting. Whoever we sign as Saliba's cover needs pace, elite dueling & top technical ability. Good luck finding that ๐ญ
The silver lining from England's total capitulation last night is that Villa can't extort us with that "World Cup-winning England international" tax when we go for Rogers ๐ญ #UTA๐ดโช๏ธ
Saliba potentially being out for 4-5 months is a massive blow. If the reports are true, the earliest heโs back is January 2027. Weโve got to nail our recruitment this summer, especially finding proper cover for Wilo.
@RohanJivanAFC If our players went this far and basically put their bodies and health on the line, you'd want it to be worth it. Oh well, we'll just have to win the quad to cheer them up then. ๐ญ
