@HockeySnobElite Goalie room of Augustine, Postava, and Cossa. Cossa had the longest runway, used up all of it, lost his job and yet we still recovered a decent asset for him. Win in my book. If one of our goalies and JP hit, this turns into a very fine move.
@imaraindancer Did you watch Cossa at camp or any of his games down the stretch? When he plays bad, it’s concerning. Wish the guy all the luck in the world, but when your agent is out talking about you like you’re the 2nd coming of Hasek in your D+5 year and you lost your job to an AHL Rookie..
@KadriSens David Booth got married in Montana back in 2014. Met his parents when they were flying in to Bozeman, Montana for the wedding. Very nice family. Jake Sanderson summers at home in Whitefish, Montana. Leave our Montana NHLers and @D_Booth7 alone.
@LarsThorsell The Wings need a center prospect to hit so bad given the circumstances, why in the world would we dump one of our wild cards for a future that is worthless. Maybe Ammo never makes it, but I’d rather have seen him get a shot and fail then send him out for a nothing pick.
@MikeBartner So you’re saying that contract length and cap hit are directly tied to trade value? Interesting 🧐 so a premium position, let’s say 1C in their prime at a team friendly deal that has good term would be super valuable then?
@TkachukFanAcc Brady is a “power forward” who scores less, plays less two-way, has less points, takes untimely penalties and plays a less premium position. He has accomplished less and his only premium over Larkin is his age.
@HockeyWithDevin I would expect to see Ottawa to flip those assets for an immediate return. This smells like Brady only accepting a trade to Florida. Full No Move Clause and only two years left on his deal.
@Coltoncorby_@TonyWolak@FlyingOctoPod As a Wings fan I’d love for him to play for us, but agree that if I am the Panthers I keep Lundell. But realistically I don’t think a Larkin trade happens for the Panthers without Lundell. Time will tell.
@Coltoncorby_@TonyWolak@FlyingOctoPod Larkin is a clear upgrade over Lundell and the panthers window is now and shutting. If your a younger team like Montreal, Buffalo, Utah, etc. you for sure value Lundell higher, but older teams with shorter cup windows should for sure sell futures for win now pieces like Larks.
@ObasizizDubber@OhNyquist What are you talking about? He scored 16 goals last year. I get hating on the Wings as a Senators fan, but he objectively played well.
