This September, we will come together in Gander to mark a quarter century of connection, compassion, and remembrance.
A commemorative service will take place September 11, 2026 at 2 pm at the Steele Community Centre. Additional details will be shared as they are confirmed.

Tomorrow at 2 PM! Drop by the North Atlantic Aviation Museum for a free screening of Sgt. Gander: A Soldier’s Soldier.
Filmmaker JP Bear, a U.S. Army veteran visiting from Arizona will be there in person to share the story.
The film tells how a Newfoundland dog from Gander became part of the Royal Rifles of Canada during the Second World War.
We will remember them.
