Great to see so many people joining the #NAVAWP March to #ReclaimtheNight as a safe & equal place for women & girls. Lovely to see the schools represented in this too. The VAWG stats are still shocking and need to change. Thanks to @PSOSNAyrshire for the social media updates too.
We will soon be setting our Budget for 2026-27 and it's important that your views are heard before any decisions are taken.
We're asking for your thoughts on a range of potential changes, including the level of teaching resource in our schools, reducing Pupil Support Assistant hours, and the frequency of purple and blue bin collections, among others.
Please take a few moments to complete our two surveys - both of these can be found on our website: https://t.co/loY08lVNxW

We have launched our 2026-27 Budget engagement and are inviting residents to have their say on the services which affect them.
This includes potential changes to the frequency of purple and blue bin collections, increasing temporary accommodation rents and streamlining the participatory budgeting process.
The feedback we receive will help inform councillors when they meet to set the Budget early in 2026.
You can fill out the survey here: https://t.co/C9CK3CvHdt

Planning on visiting any of our beautiful #AyrshireSaferShores this holiday season? The water may be cool and tempting but remember to stay safe out there!
When it’s a scorcher of a day, sometimes there’s only one thing for it - a dip in the water to cool down. If you find yourself struggling in water you can get yourself back to safety by remembering Float to Live. If you see someone in trouble, please dial 999. Make this a summer to remember, for all the right reasons.
Garnock Valley councillors Anthea Dickson, Donald L. Reid and Margaret Johnson met new tenant Jimmy Ferguson and his dog, Luca, as they saw first hand the new council homes delivered in Beith and Kilbirnie.
The new homes form yet another important part of North Ayrshire Council’s ambitious house-building programme which aims to deliver more than 1,600 brand new, energy-efficient homes in every part of North Ayrshire.
We are currently experiencing a high volume of calls with regards to our Community Alarm billing changing from monthly to quarterly. Our teams are working hard to answer as many calls as possible, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused by the longer than normal wait time.
It only takes a second to switch off your engine when stopped, but it makes a huge difference to the air we all breathe. This #CleanAirDay, switch off when you stop and help protect our health and our planet. #LetsDoNetZero
The new Montgomerie Park Primary school was officially opened yesterday. A huge thanks to the whole school community and our partners including @scotgov for creating this wonderful new facility.
