Ms. Nishi Arora, Consul (Education), along with delegates from the Education Promotion Society for India (EPSI), inaugurated the ‘Study in India Pavilion’ at the NAFSA Association of International Educators 2026, being held from May 26–29 in Orlando, Florida.

The pavilion witnessed participation from several Indian universities and institutions, showcasing India’s growing higher education ecosystem and promoting opportunities for international academic partnerships, institutional collaboration, and student mobility.

The world's most prestigious international education fair, #NAFSA2026, has kicked off in Orlando — and the opening keynote set the stage on fire! As Bezmialem Vakıf University, we participated in the fair alongside many other universities from our country.

🎶 Music knows no borders! 🌍

Leila Cobo — journalist of Lebanese roots, born in Colombia, raised in the USA — took the stage with a powerful talk on "The Power of Music" and delivered a striking message to a polarized world:

🎤 She traced the global rise of Latin music through icons like Shakira and Bad Bunny, analyzing its deep cultural and economic impact.
🤝 She explored how international education and cultural exchange shape individual identity in profound ways.
🕊️ She reminded us that art is not a force of division — it is one of the most powerful tools for building human connection.
🌐 She argued that authentic local voices can achieve global resonance, and that differences can find common ground through the arts.
💡 Her call to educators and artists: "In difficult times, never compromise on excellence or on what unites us!"

Music is not merely entertainment — it is a spiritual force that strengthens national representation and nourishes collective joy. 🎵
