NAHT Isle of Man members are being balloted for industrial action following the victimisation of union officials on the island.

The ballot is now open and voting papers will arrive with those Isle of Man members eligible for ballot on Thursday.

We were joined by over 50 members from the region on Friday, to listen to Mike Sherdian (EM Regional Director of OFSTED).

He was clear, pragmatic and receptive to members concerns.

We look forward to welcoming him back to the region in September to discuss OFSTED and SEND.

Members from the East & West Mids met Sir Kevan Collins today in Derby.

He's been appointed as chair of the DfE's non-executive board and is a close adviser to the Sec of State.

We shared views on curriculum, inclusion & accountability in a wide-ranging and positive discussion.
