🏆 Congratulations to all of the poster prize winners! 🏆
There were so many amazing posters presented at #NAM2021 - check out the posters presented by the prize winners in the thread below ✨
At NAM 2021 a few weeks ago, we hosted a virtual poster session, displaying fantastic work from those in the astronomy, astrophysics, solar physics, and MIST (Magnetosphere, Ionosphere and Solar-Terrestrial)
communities.
🌱 There's a great summary of our 'Going Green' lunch session published over on @astrobites
It was a very interesting and thought-provoking session, if you didn't manage to catch it, or you want a reminder, then you can find the summary here: https://t.co/TpwK7wTww8
I recently hosted a fab lecture on the latest and future missions to Mars. The speaker was @PlanetAndrewC who has the inside story and is leading the stereo camera on the Rosalind Franklin rover. The talk can be watched here: https://t.co/gUW1J3lmKv
How incredible are these illustrations?! They summarise a few of the sessions from #NAM2021, and were produced by live event illustrator @RaeGoddard281 from https://t.co/m40LoXpSbq
We wish all of our conference notes looked like this... ✨
Been a little quiet of late, but it's been all go here! Working with colleagues at @NAM21Bath & @RoyalAstroSoc we've been testing how to embed #PublicEngagement in an academic conference vs. how it's been done in institutions during #NAM2021 https://t.co/G1xkOVsN9E
📺 Recordings of the plenary talks from #NAM2021 are now available on YouTube - perfect to watch on your lunch break!
Catch up on any you missed, or re-watch those you particularly enjoyed - find all of the links at https://t.co/ouXKCAXOXN
The #nam2021 team would love your feedback on this year's conference. If you were a delegate you should have an email with a link to a short survey. Please complete it to help us make next year's NAM even better! @NAM21Bath
📬 Check your inboxes - all attendees should have received an email with a post-event survey
If you could spare 5-10 minutes to fill this out we'd really appreciate it! Your feedback will help with planning future conferences such as NAM 2022 ✨
What a week! Thanks to all our teams @UniofBath@RoyalAstroSoc + our wonderful delegates who together made #NAM2021 an inspiring international celebration of UK excellence in astronomy, astrophysics & space science - and a fitting tribute to 200 years of the @RoyalAstroSoc.
Of course we do have just one event left!
Starting in 15 minutes, Science Showoff presents: Never Explain!
This promises to be a great way to wind down from an awesome week of #NAM2021 🚀
Prepare for an evening of out-of-this world jokes. 🤣 🚀
