Ms. Tomkins had the opportunity to meet Bobbi Gibb, inspiring artist and first woman to run the Boston Marathon in 1966. This work is part of a fundraiser for the 26.5 foundation- 40 artworks are on display @hopartscenter for the starting line of the 129th Boston Marathon!

7th grade artists have been studying Pointillism over the last few weeks. Today Art2 students drew out and began painting their work!

The 7th grade is learning about the Surrealists and Artist Salvador Dali! Today we played a game called The Equisite Corpse that the Surrealist played with words and drawings! This point of this game is to stimulate creativity through collaboration! @NAMiddle
