NAAMES researchers, Scott Doney and Pete Gaube (and their co-authors) continue to explore the NAAMES themes of combined ocean physics and plankton ecosystems, but now in the Southern Ocean!
Kicking off this evening in VA - @US_OCB Workshop: Ocean-Atmosphere Interactions: Scoping directions for U.S. research! See agenda, participants and more at https://t.co/cgZfyljEKn
NASA scientist, Jeremy Wendell introduces the next generation of spaceborne sensors for observing the coupled ocean-atmosphere system happening now at the AGU Hyperwall. #PACE#2018AGU
NAAMES scientists are at the American Geophysical Union Conference in Washington D.C. this week presenting results from all four deployments. Monday kicked off with posters and platform presentations focused on the N. Atlantic #AGU2018#Aerosols#Clouds#Plankton
Several members of the NAAMES team are in Rome this week at the beautifully adorned National Research Council auditorium for the #SOLAS discussions on ocean-atmosphere science studies, how NAAMES fits into the global perspective, and to chart a path for future research.
The N. Atlantic has seen a flurry of science campaigns in the past couple of years. In addition to those from @NASA_NAAMES, there are a lot of great results from ACE-ENA (https://t.co/Qs16r14iZc), and Azores 2017 (https://t.co/nX14ZClzYu) being presented today at #IAC2018
The Int’l Aerosol Conference (#IAC2018) kicks off today in St. Louis. First up is Professor Lynn Russell from @Scripps_Ocean presenting her group’s @NASA_NAAMES results on marine cloud condensation nuclei contributions from sea spray and dimethylsulfide.
