Let's rewind to the 2022 first-round playoffs: Dallas Mavericks vs. Utah Jazz.

In that game, cameras caught Knicks exec World Wide Wes, assistant GM and legend Allan Houston, and then Knicks player Julius Randle sitting courtside in Dallas.

Everyone assumed they were scouting Donovan Mitchell.

They were.

But the "other" dude balling out that night was still on his $1.8 million rookie deal. That second-round pick turned out to be the "star" to bring home the championship.
