This week members of our Eco Stewardship Team, along with the Green Team from the council, have been taking part in a local litter pick. Termly litter picks are part of our @CAFOD Live Simply award where we work to help protect our Common Home.

Youngsters from @StLukes_ST5 and @sjfcc joined forces to take part in the @rspb Big Schools’ Birdwatch. Huge thanks to Andrew who gave a great tour of Silverdale Country Park - we were privileged to see many species including the Lapwing. @GWWM @thelandtrust #NationalNestBoxWeek

Big thanks to our volunteers from WJ North who completed the second phase of painting the play area at Ilkley Place, Silverdale today. Another day of hard work has made such a huge improvement to the local area. Well done to all involved 👏@NewsNBC @NuLMarkets

The local Bloom competitions are complete for 2023 and what an amazing year it’s been. We’ve enjoyed meeting the many talented, green fingered bloomers of Newcastle and have seen some brilliant projects. Just got to wait for the results now @RHSBloom @NewsNBC @NuLMarkets
