@TheArsenalDan@luke_mccown Foot coordination is natural athletic ability. So soccer players with great touch and ability to dribble and shoot at a high level with both feet can attribute that to elite athletic ability
@bwfast Pro/rel would just turn it into the biggest markets or whoever has the richest owner being at the top level. It would detrimental to growing the game since you would not gain any interest to areas without a top level team
@CFBKnights We were less athletic than Belgium. Learning technical skill to be good at soccer takes athletic ability. Just like learning how to shoot, dribble, and throw in other sports takes athletic ability to be good at those skills
@TrapHouseMooch@stack1242@mdotbrown And all of our 5’7 athletic people play football, basketball, baseball, and track over soccer. Even though 3 of those sports heavily favor height
@bamabyte@DuBoseDefense Haaland is born and raised in the US and he’s a top reciever in the NFL. He’s 6’5 and runs a top speed of 22.5mph. Imagine what he runs if he lifted and trained for football his whole life. Soccer training is more endurance focused
@Aaron_Torres I think Gordon Hayward Butler is a better analogy. Haaland and Hayward both being unreal but Hayward’s supporting cast and coaching was better than what Steph had at Davidson and this Norway teams has a lot of solid to good players
@LBknowsBall What about the southern states who seceded for a while? Does their 250 reset in the 1860s or was it a racist multi year gap that we ignore so they can spiritually find themselves?
@cimmerian_v So far I have had no survivors. I say prayer of thanks to each ball’s God so that they may see the afterlife for their sacrifice they make to me
@overrated_sec@tbhorka As an ND fan I didn’t care that IU won it all. I was preferring they won over any other team in the playoffs minus the G5. I also don’t live in Indiana and never interact with IU fans
@MattMcCarthy985 Promotion vs relegation will never catch on here. It will make problems with the salary cap. would need to lower it to help clubs consistently battling pro/rel who don’t have as much money or would raise the salary cap to not limit the biggest clubs which hurts small clubs
