@emilygosden We've been here before with oil and gas majors and offshore wind - after initial involvement in round 2 they pulled out because of this reason. Unless their priorities and expectations have truly shifted (i.e. not just rhetoric) then it might well happen again...

@theroyalparks Your thinking is the wrong way around here. Providing 'car-free spaces' means that the parks are there primarily for cars and pedestrians / cyclists are lucky to have some car-free space. Instead, access for cars should be the exception not the rule!

@doug_parr That was my first thought Doug, he has been highly critical of renewables, particularly wind, in previous books but if at 101 he can start to see the positives, that reflects very well on him and on the progress renewables has made!
