Thank you so much to all the parents and carers who came in this morning for the KS1 reading breakfast! It was so great to see families enjoying books together. The theme for the reading breakfast was community cohesion and togetherness.

@vickiGPN I had planners for week 1-6 for the summer. Grandparents covering a day here and a day there . Taking part weeks leave to support children also having some time with me. It’s a balancing act . You can do this ! 2/2

@vickiGPN Take a deep breath, plan, plan then plan again. Firstly don’t assume you save on childcare as they start school - sometimes it costs more. If you can buy more leave , plan for yourself and partner to take separate leave, look for holiday clubs - ask other parents what works 1/2
