@gavreilly Schools are on their knees spending countless hours in the evening and weekends looking for substitute teachers to fill maternity/ parental leaves for some of our most vulnerable pupils in SET. It’s clear @NormaFoleyTD1 isn’t facing these daily “opportunities” herself.

Very concerned about the pupils who will lose out in our schools due to this crisis.These pupils need their SET time, additional support and withdrawls from class but there will not be sufficient teachers available to ensure their needs are met. Facing a challenging year ahead..
