False Idylls is not a happy in-family dating sim.
In brief, it's a horror game where their peaceful life will be destroyed within 4 weeks by the invasion of other characters, and they need to defend themselves while solving the secrets in the house.

I haven't shown the major mechanic, mainly because I'm setting up all the basic elements in game. I also care a lot about the writing, wanting to make sure the plot twists aren't just something being revealed out of nowhere.

My writing and art style might have been too tame for this tho. I've seen many YouTubers talk about horror RPG maker games and VNs, and feel like gore and psychos are what people actually want for this type of games. This gives me some struggles and self doubts.
