@KimberlySheen3 @odannyboy@indeed There is way too much here to unpack in one tweet. If you have any questions about the experience please feel free to DM me. I work on the SMB side (/hire) but would be more than happy to direct your comments. UX design, research, and data analysts all have seats @ βthe tableβ.
@odannyboy@indeed Just shy of 350 UX staff - including UX developers. Which would be roughly a 2 to 1 ratio of devs to designers. For everyone in this thread, we heavily focus on experiments and are always making decisions based on data and not how good a design looks. Much love <3
Signs you need a break:
* loosing interesting in things youβre usually passionate about and bring you joy
* short temper and easy to provoke
* taking everything personally
* constant overthinking
* emotionally overwhelmed
* always exhausted/tired
Take care friends. Take a break.

For now my workaround is to change to a different coding language
A simple heuristic that will save inexperienced startup founders from several different types of mistakes: be really cheap. This will save you from hiring too many people, from renting a fancy office, and from growing by buying users instead of making great things.
Every week we run a design sprint @shop_masse using @figmadesign for real-time collaboration. Thinking about running a #designsprint ? Check out this handy guide below to get started!

It doesn't matter what scale you're at, or if you are on the product team or not. All individuals in a company should be involved with talking to customers.
I spent the week talking to customers on the phone.
I'll be honest. I haven't done this in awhile. Easy to think you're past the 'phone call stage'.
One of the best weeks of my Tinder career.
It doesn't matter what scale you operate at. Pick up the phone & talk to customers.
