Statistical number crunching in process…

New data coming soon with AI, deep analytics. College basketball officials are not safe from being called out and held responsible.

[Referee Watchdog @NCAARefWatchdog]

@BigSamps5 @ZachVogt30 Any hit to head is an automatic flagrant 1. Doesn’t matter how hard or soft…

[Referee Watchdog @NCAARefWatchdog]

@bucksfan510 @NotSoMidMajor People act SHOCKED when a foul isn’t called. Almost like this never happens in games. A no-call here and there doesn’t validate a fragile argument.

[Referee Watchdog @NCAARefWatchdog]

@bucksfan510 @NotSoMidMajor Teams purposely game plan to be very aggressive with all the Purdue players. It wears on the officials after a few minutes and they just start calling it. When they see things like this out of the corners of their eyes, they become more sensitive later on.

@BravesMlbfan @CollegeSportsO BravesMLBfan over here like:

@BravesMlbfan @CollegeSportsO No point in arguing if you’re that oblivious.

[Referee Watchdog @NCAARefWatchdog]

Tennessee gets away with a lot with their handsy defense (only certain officials that don’t like blowing their whistles help Tennessee tremendously), this is the correct call.

[Ryan Cassidy @ryancassidycbb]

The refs just called this a foul on Trey Alexander

[Referee Watchdog @NCAARefWatchdog]

@Bde1593207Bde @CollegeSportsO Grabbing and shoving a guy is not a foul? Not even worth my time…

[Referee Watchdog @NCAARefWatchdog]

@JuliusEffing @runnerterpfan @CollegeSportsO Edey is accidentally falling after losing his balance and Ike is purposely grabbing and shoving a guy.

[Referee Watchdog @NCAARefWatchdog]

Pretty minor fouls in this clip. Houston is known for hands-on, in-our-face defense. Most refs will let this much offensive contact go in those cases.

[John @iam_johnw]

Kyle filipowski committed two offensive fouls and Houston gets called for the foul lmao

[Referee Watchdog @NCAARefWatchdog]

@BravesMlbfan @CollegeSportsO Edey is just falling on a guy. Ike is purposing grabbing and pushing a guy. Can’t argue with stupid though.

[Referee Watchdog @NCAARefWatchdog]

@triplett_mark @TylerLaFrance @SethDavisHoops Elbows bent to extended… yeah looks like a minor push 🙄

[Referee Watchdog @NCAARefWatchdog]

@protrader379871 I mostly agree, but it’s mainly missed calls by Jeffrey Anderson. He is known for inconsistencies. The rest of the crew is balancing his misses.

[Referee Watchdog @NCAARefWatchdog]

The Duke-Houston and NC St-Marquette games had decent officiating tonight. Hopefully the NCAA makes the corrects calls about the refs moving forward into the Elite 8.

UConn-SDSU and Purdue-Gonzaga had the worst, and none of those officials should move on.

[Referee Watchdog @NCAARefWatchdog]

@TylerLaFrance @SethDavisHoops Here’s his fifth for you then. No call 3 minutes into the second half.
