We are very excited to have #purplecarrots planted at the @ncatcaes Farm in Greensboro! The overwintering trial is planted in a hoop house. The carrots are now starting to emerge, and we are excited to see them progress through the winter! @NCAgriculture@NCATExtension

Our first #purplecarrots harvest from our Kinston, NC location occurred yesterday. The internal purple color of the carrots was very promising! Photographed is a sample of the harvested Deep Purple variety. Thank you to @BejoSeeds for providing seed for the trials!
