Today, @NYCMayor Eric Adams appointed Edward A. Caban as the 46th Police Commissioner of the City of New York. The Bronx native is a 32-year veteran of the NYPD and the first Hispanic to hold this title. Best wishes to our new top cop!

FDNY Members Lt. Justin Hespeler, Lt. Jason Hickey, and Firefighter Patrick Thornton were among nine people awarded Presidential Medal of Valor, the highest honor in the country bestowed on public safety officers.
