Congratulations to Alyssa Benson for winning the "Herbert Heller Essay Contest!" Every year, juniors write an essay over any U.S. History topic of their choice. Alyssa wrote an amazing essay and won the $300 prize! Mrs. Faust, US History teacher, presented the award.

J-Day 2026 proved excellent yet again at Ball State University. Students attended their choice of three classes, and toured the Journalism department at the College of Communication Information and Media! Chirp-Chirp!

Congratulations to our academic teams! NCHS really shined at the area meet in Richmond last night. NC really stood out last night, and we will be watching for state placement this week! Thank you to all the students that showed up and our awesome coaches. It was a great year!
