After three albums, the band parted ways. Art went on to become a solo artist. Although the record “Where You Gonna Go” wasn’t a hit in the top music charts, Art’s record grew in popularity as years gone by. Hopefully we will hear more from Art in the near future. #ArtGuy

Our featured person for today is band member, Art Guy, of the instrumental surf group, The New Dimensions. In 1958, at the tender age of 10, Art had his sight on being a percussionist. He had nothing but aspiration in his heart for the love of music.

Who would have thought Art along with his childhood classmates, renewed music producer, Michael Lloyd, Jimmy Greenspoon of Three Dogs Night, Danny Belsky and last person to join the group, Craig Nuttycombe, would start a surf band, The New Dimensions in 1962.
