Proud of our crew from the Remount Rd. station for hosting these @USNavy servicemen and appreciate Sgt. Zimmer from @NCPD who is always looking for opportunities to help people.
Thanks to all of our partners and for @Charleston_Fire Chief Curia for serving as the keynote speaker at the Charleston County Recruit School graduation.
Butch started his career as a Firefighter with the @NCFDSC before his time in Law Enforcement and Emergency Management. He was the most dedicated public servant I have ever met, continuing to serve the City through sickness and pain. Butch was my hero as well as my friend.
Today we lost long-time public servant and North Charlestonian Butch Barfield. Rest easy, Butch. Thank you for the positive impact you made on the City of North Charleston.
