மே 10 தேதியிட்ட அரசிதழ் எண் 238-ல், தமிழக சட்டமன்றத்திற்கு இரண்டு தொகுதிகளில் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட திரு. சி. ஜோசப் விஜய் அவர்கள், தனது 141-திருச்சிராப்பள்ளி (கிழக்கு) தொகுதி உறுப்பினர் பதவியை ராஜினாமா செய்தது குறித்த அறிவிப்பு வெளியானது.

​ஆனால், அதில் தற்போதைய சபாநாயகர் பெயரை விடுத்து, முன்னாள் சபாநாயகர் அப்பாவு பெயரை குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளனர். தற்போது அந்தப் பக்கத்தையே இணையதளத்தில் இருந்து நீக்கியுள்ளனர்.

​அரசு விதிமுறைகளின்படி, தவறைத் திருத்தி (Corrigendum) மீண்டும் அதே எண்ணில் பதிவேற்றம் செய்வதுதான் சரியான நடைமுறை.

​உடனடியாகத் சரிசெய்து, சரியான விபரங்களுடன் அரசிதழை மீண்டும் பதிவேற்றம் செய்ய வேண்டுகிறேன்.

ஏழை, எளிய மாணவர்களின் மருத்துவக் கனவை ஏலத்திற்கு விடும் இந்தக் ‘கல்வி வியாபாரிகளின்’ கொட்டம் அடங்கும் காலம் வந்துவிட்டது! தஞ்சை மண்ணில் ‘கல்வித் தந்தை’ எனப் போலி வேடம் போட்டுக்கொண்டு, பன்னாட்டுப் பள்ளி என்றும், ‘அச்சீவர்’ அகாடமி என்றும் பந்தாவாகப் பெயர்களை வைத்துக்கொண்டு, அப்பாவிக் குடும்பங்களின் உழைப்பைச் சுரண்டுவதையே பிழைப்பாகக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள் இந்த வெங்கடேசன் போன்றவர்கள்.
700 பேரை டாக்டராக்கினோம் என்று கூசாமல் பொய் விளம்பரம் கொடுத்து, அந்த மாய வலையில் பெற்றோர்களைச் சிக்க வைத்து, லட்சங்களைச் சுருட்டும் இவர்களின் அயோக்கியத்தனத்திற்கு நுகர்வோர் நீதிமன்றம் இப்போது சரியான சவுக்கடி கொடுத்திருக்கிறது. நீட் விண்ணப்பத்தைக் கூட முறையாகப் பதியத் தெரியாத இந்த நிர்வாகம், எதைச் சாதிப்பதாக ‘அச்சீவர்’ என்ற பெயரைச் சூட்டிக்கொண்டது? இது சாதனையா அல்லது அப்பாவிகளின் பணத்தைச் சுருட்டும் வேதனையா?

"கல்விச் சேவை" என்று புனிதமான வார்த்தையைப் பயன்படுத்திக்கொண்டு, உள்ளுக்குள் ஜி.எஸ்.டி எண் வைத்துக்கொண்டு வியாபாரம் நடத்தும் இவர்களின் சாயம் இப்போது வெளுத்துவிட்டது. ஏழை மாணவனின் மருத்துவக் கனவைச் சிதைத்து, அவர்களின் ரத்தத்தை உறிஞ்சிக் கொழுக்கும் இத்தகைய கல்வி முதலாளிகளின் ஆட்டத்திற்கு, தஞ்சை நுகர்வோர் ஆணையத்தின் இந்தத் தீர்ப்பு ஒரு ‘மரண’ அடியாக விழுந்திருக்கிறது.

Was the District Election Administration sleeping since April 30th? ECI issued QR-ID orders days ago, but local authorities woke up only tonight—just hours before counting—to demand new photos! Why should candidates suffer for this administrative lethargy and last-minute chaos?
​This is a clear violation of 'Natural Justice' and 'Procedural Fairness'. These new mandates for counting agents are NOT in the 'Candidate Handbook'. Rules should ensure transparency, not create hurdles for independent candidates!
​Attention @ECISVEEP! Para 4 of Instruction No. 464/INST/Counting/2023 clearly states that 'Manual Checking' of Photo IDs is mandatory if technical issues arise. Why are local ROs forcing new digital cards at the 11th hour? Don't block democratic rights! We demand entry with previously issued official IDs!

​Thanjavur Election Turbulence: Candidate Karikal Cholan Questions RO's Arbitrary Rejection of Expenditure Agent
​Thanjavur, 18.04.2026: A serious confrontation has erupted in the Thanjavur Assembly constituency, as independent candidate S. Karikal Cholan has filed a formal complaint with the Election Commission of India (ECI), alleging that electoral rights are being obstructed by the local election authorities.
​The Trigger:
Candidate S. Karikal Cholan, contesting from the Thanjavur constituency, submitted an application to appoint an Additional Expenditure Agent to manage his election accounts. On 15.04.2026, the formal 'Form 8', along with the agent's photograph, Electoral ID copy, and [Aadhaar Redacted] copy, was submitted to the interview assistant of the Returning Officer (RO), Mrs. Nithya.
​However, when the candidate followed up on 16.04.2026, he was verbally informed that the Returning Officer had rejected the appointment without assigning any valid legal reason.
​Violation of ECI Guidelines:
According to Page 297 of the Election Commission’s 'Handbook for Candidates 2023', the appointment of an additional expenditure agent is a statutory right of the candidate. The rejection of a valid application without a written, reasoned order has raised serious concerns regarding the administrative neutrality of the Returning Officer's office.
​Escalation to Delhi:
Protesting this unilateral and arbitrary action, the candidate's Chief Agent, Advocate M. Shakiladevi, has escalated the matter. Formal complaints have been dispatched to the Chief Election Commissioner (ECI) in New Delhi, the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Tamil Nadu, and the Expenditure Observer for the Thanjavur constituency.
​The complaint demands immediate intervention to overturn the rejection and allow the appointment of the additional agent.
