Think before sharing info online. What you post lives on forever, and even if you have privacy settings in place on your social media accounts, your posts might be shared by others. Never take online quizzes that ask you to share personal information.

Gen AI can be a helpful tool, but remember these systems learn from user inputs. Never share private info (personal, financial, or work data). AI models also often scrape data from the internet and may use information you share publicly online.
#DataPrivacyWeek#Privacy
Protecting your personal information starts with action. During Data Privacy Week, take charge of your data and stay secure. Learn more on our blog: https://t.co/YX23pnfstQ

Each device, app or browser we use has ways to limit what data is shared. Check these regularly and adjust them as needed. Visit https://t.co/TAwK4xiW2o to find out how to update settings on devices and services.

Ask yourself why an app, game or company would need access to information that isn’t related to the service it provides. If you aren’t comfortable sharing, don’t use it. If you do use an app, turn off unnecessary features to limit what you share.
#DataPrivacyWeek#Privacy
Using an app, service or game may not be worth the amount or type of personal data you have to share in return. Take the time to review privacy policies, notices and user agreements, and make sure you are aware of and agree with how your information will be used.

I had the best time teaching an Hour of AI to a classroom of @DDMMSDragons students last week! With the help of @Accenture_US and our many volunteers, we introduced coding, safe AI use, and future tech careers to 2,000 students at nine schools across Wake and Durham counties.
I'm proud to be part of these volunteer efforts and join our team and local organizations throughout our state in making a real difference for North Carolina.
Our commitment to serving NC goes beyond our daily responsibilities. We’re proud to support initiatives that create meaningful, lasting impact in our communities. Learn more about our volunteer efforts: https://t.co/87wppxqfWu
