The cadets of the 167th Basic School reached one of the most significant milestones of Patrol School yesterday as they were issued their patrol vehicles. This achievement marks that they are one step closer to becoming North Carolina State Troopers in just a few short weeks.

@NCSHP 167th Basic School cadets marked a major milestone yesterday, receiving their state-issued hat badges ahead of graduation. A symbol of their training and progress, the badge reflects how far they’ve come and that they’re just weeks from earning the title of State Trooper.
@NCSHP Chaplains from across the state gathered in Raleigh today for in-service training. We thank them for their dedication to supporting our members and strengthening the Patrol’s mission to prevent loss of life on our roadways.
Starting today through May 31, @NCSHP is joining agencies nationwide for Click It or Ticket enforcement, targeting drivers not wearing seat belts. Buckle up every trip, every time.
