A $28 million gift from the family of alumnus Frederick “Fred” Eugene Wilson Jr. and the Wilson family will name the Wilson College of Textiles in perpetuity.
Due to Hurricane Florence, the NNF will close at 12:00 noon, today, September 12th. Normal operations are expected to resume at 10:00 AM, Monday, September 17th.

The NNF would like to remind all of its users of the upcoming Carolina Science Symposium (CSS), which will be held Friday, November 9 at the McKimmon Center.
The NNF will be sponsoring a $250 student poster award at the CSS. In order to be eligible, you need to present a poster at this coneference, highlight some work that was performed at NNF in this poster, and mention NNF in the poster’s Acknowledgment section.

The first session of the Lithography short course will be held Thursday, July 26 from 9am-1pm. During this time, the following tools will not be available:
- Heidelberg direct write tool
- Headway spinner
- MA6 aligner
- Develop hood
- SVG spin coater
Please plan accordingly.
The NNF Cleanroom will be from closed Saturday, July 7th through Tuesday, July 10th for its Quarterly Maintenance Shutdown. The facility will re-open Wednesday, July 11, at 8am.

The NNF will be closing off ALL nitrogen lines at 1pm on Friday, May 4, to repair a leak in the compressor. We will reopen the lines once the repair is complete.
