Weβve received some wonderful feedback for Kurt, one of our drivers.
While driving the Green 11 along Adbolton Lane, Kurt came across a rider whose horse was feeling nervous around larger vehicles. Understanding the situation straight away, he showed exceptional patience, professionalism and care.
Rather than rushing past, Kurt stopped behind the horse, gave plenty of space, and allowed the rider time to move safely before continuing. He then took a moment to chat with the rider, helping the horse become more comfortable around the bus in a calm and controlled way.
The rider got in touch to thank Kurt for going above and beyond, praising his kindness, common sense and consideration for all road users. Thanks to his thoughtful approach, both rider and horse were able to continue their journey safely and with greater confidence.
Thank you, Kurt, for representing NCT so brilliantly and for showing such care and understanding.
