โThe bishops of the Diocese of Newcastle join their voices to the many expressing horror and dismay at the attacks on the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue in Manchester. We ask for prayers for the victims and for the community affected by this atrocity, and for our Jewish friends in Newcastle and across our region. We stand in solidarity against hate and urge all of us again to commit to peace so that all may live and worship in safety.โ
