On Friday, June 9th, we celebrated the graduation of four Parole and Probation Officers from the Law Enforcement Training Academy. Dakotah Mansfield, Marinna Marsh, Andrew Patterson, and Matt Hendrickson received their Peace Officer license and their NDPP badge. Congratulations!

On Monday, Mike Wolf, North Dakota's softball Umpire-in-Chief, visited NDSP to teach a condensed umpire clinic to our residents, providing an opportunity for men upon release who have gone through the clinic to have an option to pursue umping as a side income.

Today is Children of Incarcerated Parents Day in ND. The DOCR has a group of dedicated individuals who work hard to ensure there is support for these children. We want to use this day as a reminder for North Dakotans to help reduce risk factors for both children and parents.
