Today, we’re thrilled to recognize, celebrate, and thank Melanie for her incredible 20-year journey as a #Bluedropper! Over the years, Mel has worn many, many hats, including serving the unenviable position as emergency navigator for our Founder, CEO, and Sometimes-Frazzled Traveler Emad Rizkalla- all during the pre-smartphone era...Queue, the dream sequence music...

📽Picture this: Emad, quite lost in a random U.S. city, calling the Bluedrop main office line...Mel calmly pulling up MapQuest on her desktop, guiding him through rush hour traffic in real-time, like a scene ripped directly from Mission Impossible 1. We’re pretty sure she’s the sole reason he’s not still stranded in Penny Pot, New Jersey!

When asked for his thoughts, Mr. Rizkalla said "We've relied so much on Mel's capabilities and can-do spirit over the years. There was always a real peace in knowing she is handling any file, including my travel in those early days!—everyone knows she will own it, and will never miss a beat."
