"Diet patterns cannot be reduced to generalized prescriptions or uniform charts for all. Each individual needs to understand and adapt according to one's own body, lifestyle and metabolic requirements.
Growing commercialization in healthcare and diet advisory practices is a major concern. Ironically, the attractive, fancy or overly complex diet plans tend to earn popularity, despite lacking practical relevance or evidence basis.
While awareness about diet and lifestyle diseases such as diabetes and obesity is essential, equal caution is called for against diet-related misinformation and disinformation, sought to be spread either by default or by design.
