On April 22, the Eastern Region De-escalation Training Center at the University of New Haven completed another two-day Principles and Practice De-escalation training session at the SUNY Downstate Health Services University in Brooklyn, New York.
Today, the Eastern Region De-escalation Training Center at the University of New Haven completed another two-day Principles and Practice De-escalation training session at George Washington University Department of Public Safety in Washington, D.C.
Instructors for this course included Jeremy Jesenovec, Tony Wenger, Mark Kula, and Abby Schlabach.

Region 1, the Midwest Regional De-escalation Center at Wayne State University of Detroit, completed two-day Principles & Practices Trainings six times in the month of February at Canton Police Department in Ohio.
The East Coast Regional De-escalation Training Center at the University of New Haven in Connecticut delivered a two-day Principles & Practice De-escalation training session at the UMass Chan Medical School Department of Public Safety in Massachusetts.
Those in attendance were all active law enforcement officers in the state of Connecticut from the following departments: the Connecticut State Police, Fairfield, Weston, New Haven, Eastern Connecticut State University and Waterbury.

Today, Region 7, the East Coast Regional De-escalation Training Center at the University of New Haven completed another two-day Principles and Practice De-escalation training session at the West Haven, Connecticut Police Department.
Agencies in attendance included Derby, Wichita, and Andover Police Departments and the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office.
Trainers for this course included Retired Sgt. David Vilaysing and Officer Troy Brown from the Augusta Police Department.
Region 2, the Central Region De-escalation Training Center at Fort Hays State University (FHSU), facilitated the Principles & Practice Train-the-Trainer course November 4 – 7, hosted by the Derby Police Department in Kansas.
Agencies in attendance included UHD and Houston Metro Police Departments as well as School Resource Officers from Katy and Alvin Independent School Districts. Trainers for this course included Dr. Tamara Lynn from FHSU and Mr. Luis Hernanez.
Region 2, the Central Region De-escalation Training Center at Fort Hays State University (FHSU), facilitated the Principles & Practice course November 6 and 7, hosted and attended by the University of Houston – Downtown (UHD).
Instructors for this training session were Officer Miguel Bermudez from the Lockport, NY. Police Department, Officer Moses Robinson, from the Rochester, NY. Police Department and Sergeant (Ret.) Martin Dadio from the New Haven, CT. Police Department.
Today, Region 7, the Northeast Regional De-escalation Training Center at the University of New Haven completed a third two-day Principles & Practice De-escalation training session at the Lockport, NY Police Department.
Those in attendance were both active law enforcement and individuals from the Mental Health profession from throughout the state of New York representing the following departments: Lockport, Buffalo and Niagra County.
