Some of you users keep following then unfollowing right after I follow back. That’s unfair engagement and it’s putting my handle at risk of suspension...you can do better😑
FYI @ndubueze01 I Reciprocate ASAP🤝😒
@blaq_en_belle Honestly and not like there's a manual to these things, we deal with the uncertainties all day and learn from our shortcomings and that of others
We do not have any problem with the Nigerian Army. We love and respect them, my Junior brother really wanted to join but nobody supported him not even his parents. Cuz of the sabotage in Nigeria military... All these started after the conspiracy that removed Jonathan in 2015. The moment they started propagating that the Igbo man who was leading the army and conquering Boko haram territories was killing the northerners as a revenge for Nigeria/ Biafra war. The man was removed and what happened next???
Boko haram retook those territories.
Buhari in retaliation sent soldiers to kill the Igbo youths that were just protesting asking for referendum. Those guys were never armed to harm anyone.
Buhari said;
"Those of us in the fields for 30 months, who went through the war, will treat them in the language they understand."
These are part of the cause of the current rejection. Something needs to be addressed. That's the best way to regain the trust. Those unarmed civilians that were killed has family and the families still mourn their death till today.
Lets address the main issue, that's the path way to get things moving together.
Nigerians have this mentality of wanting to be better than the next person. It is not enough that you are winning, you have to be better than the next person or your win is not fulfilling.
That is why as a country we will never go far. You can trace this reasoning to every aspect of our lives - even politics. Politicians keep you poor because they need people to worship them. People who japa will tell you that the place don dey cast because other people are coming into the country themselves migrated to. A restaurant is no lo ger luxurious because more people can afford it even though it is expensive.
We are too poor for the standard we set.
Same 19 year old girl that put up a video on TikTok begging for accommodation. Homeless, jobless, no education, no help, no support.
People like you, who believe a 19 year old can't be domestic staff, didn't bother. You didn't contribute a kobo. You didn't help her.
I did. I gave her ₦100,000 of my own money, raised more from my network on TikTok, found her accommodation on the island and asked her to get a job. Unfortunately, every job she found paid close to nothing, and she still had to feed herself and pay for transport. So I asked myself what that would offer her in the long run.
I decided to teach her a skill while paying her. Even after she finished learning, I'm still paying for the tools she needs to practise and put out her work until she can make a living from it. On top of that, she gets three square meals a day, a monthly salary, internet, and anything else I can help with.
But no, in your opinion she's 19, so she shouldn't be domestic staff.
When you've done anything close to this for someone, please come back and lecture me about domestic help.
The real tragedy of living in a third-world country is that you can do everything right and still struggle because the environment is designed to make ordinary things unnecessarily difficult.
