#NEW @fox5dc is now hearing from Patrick Reilly, the Logan Circle dad whose wife & 5-year-old son were shot Tuesday evening over what @DCPoliceDept say was a dispute over a scooter. Reilly says a man stopped & threatened them, intentionally shooting:

Her husband Patrick shared the following: "We thank our family, friends, and community for keeping them in their thoughts and continue to ask for privacy during this difficult time. Tell your loved ones how you feel today and hug them tightly. Give blood if you can. Thank you."
