We had the pleasure of welcoming @AliceObrecht , Senior Research Advisor @NEAR_Network , to our office. Our conversation focused on strengthening humanitarian aid through locally led action, the vital role of #CSOs in advancing the #AU’s peace and security agenda, and how cooperation among Global South actors can further strengthen locally led and inclusive humanitarian action. Over three days in late April, the Oversight Body of the @NEAR_Network #ChangeFund came together for an in-person convening in Nairobi. This was a pivotal moment in the evolution of the Fund – marking a clear step forward toward its scaling.
