@NewcastleFansU If you played for Palace on £150k a week and Arsenal offered you £250k - you’d walk in a heartbeat. You talk as if these players are fans. I’m not having a go at just you/Newcastle here - players are mercenaries - they don’t ‘care’ the same way you/I do about their club…

@CBennett_12 @eathummous1 As I have said, this has caught everyone off guard - including the player and Toulouse. The lad left the training ground around lunchtime after seemingly ‘passing’ his medical - and had a tour of the stadium with his family and agent. All very strange.
@MattW36565526 Very odd in all honesty - as the medical was done first thing in the morning. The lad then had a full tour of the stadium with his agent and family - all seemingly fine. Hence the confidence. I think it’s caught everyone off guard inc. the player and Toulouse.

I was told last night that Dayann Methalie’s medical had been completed and took that to mean there were no problems. Clearly, that wasn’t the case.
This one feels a bit like Armand Laurienté all over again. 😬

@RegisLeDavo It is in the balance - fee is going to have to be a record breaking one for the club to get him. There’s about a £5-10m gap in valuation right now. SAFC are tough negotiators - but SCP under no pressure to sell. I think it will happen, but may take few more days…
