I was going to send in a bulk but now I’m not. I get parts of it, maybe in a year once the volume drops drastically, they will realize their prices are too high. There are more $30-70 cards than there are $80+ cards. I will say, it will deter from flippers buying a $15 cards than, grading it a 10 and selling it for $50. Which the market really doesn’t need that anyway. My hope is, SGC or whoever will take over the small card market and that’ll be the standard. A PSA 10 base Corbin Carroll rookie card should be equivalent to an SGC 10 rookie card. That is my hope.

@GenePark I miss grabbing a rifle the most. No one is talking about that. Climbing up, taking out the sharp shooters in the poop deck taking down the flag, sniping from up top, jumping down to assassinate, really sad the don’t have that anymore.

That doesn’t change my stance. I’m talking about the market I’m in, I don’t appraise nationally. Around 50% of the homes are hardboard, and the other 40% are stucco, stone, brick. I was giving my specific experience, not saying every home in the nation. Again, idk what you’re arguing about. You sound like an AMC reviewer.

My original comment said pretty much, sales approach doesn’t equal cost approach. Yes the type of cost approach doesn’t hold relevance to my original comment? Most new homes are built with stone and hardboard. Vinyl was an early 1970-2000s. Have yet to see a home built new with vinyl in the last 2 years.

You said they were cheaper made homes. I said yes but they aren’t cheaper monetarily. They are cheaper made products but still priced not cheaply. That was my point. Reproduction cost for a custom home built in 1960 would be crazy high because the quality. Which was agreeing to your point.

@YourGlockness @unusual_whales Replacement cost and reproduction cost are two different things for a reason. I see what you’re saying but for instance, blinds in a new custom home I saw marked as $24k. People don’t want to actually see themselves spending 24k for blinds because most buyers know it’s a scam
