In ELA, we saw similar trends with the data... 5th graders showing the most proficiency lost in comparing 2021 with 2019 results. They stood out at over 9% loss, where other grades showed less than 4% loss.
Comparing data across years, of the 5th graders who took the NYS Math Assessments in 2021, over 12% of all students lost proficiency since their 3rd grade assessment in 2019. This was the biggest math loss across grades 5 - 8.
