I know many a ⭐️ players who “were too tired or hurt” to take a penalty in a big moment. (Won’t name names) So I will always support the player who steps up and takes one. The teammates I’ve had that have missed will always be welcomed on my team. The coaches and managers however should know who’s capable of the moment and who’s not. That’s part of that job description.

#OTD, 5/19/96: the @NERevolution defeated the NY/NJ MetroStars 2-0, earning the first home shutout in club history. Aidan Heaney got the clean sheet, with Alberto Naveda scoring on a deflection and Paul Keegan adding an incredible diving header to give the #NERevs the win.
