AJ Brown is ready to go up against Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez:
Per: @kguregian
“Yeah, Gonzo, man. Great player,” Brown said Thursday. “You know, hopefully everything works out. I’m excited to get some work between him and CD (Carlton Davis III) and the other guys, but Gonzo most definitely man.”
“I’m ready to go against them so we can push each other, get in the lab together because obviously, that’s good on good, you know, and there’s very little room for mistakes.”

#Patriots LG Alijah Vera-Tucker on Drake Maye’s leadership:
“I think Drake’s a natural leader. We’ve seen that… Not only being close to winning the MVP, but also leading the team to the Super Bowl. Seeing how he carries himself in the huddle, I think it’s really cool to see.”
#Patriots OC Josh McDaniels on AJ Brown:
“Very smart. Really enjoys the game of football. You can just tell that he’s had a great deal of experience at a high level. Whether that’s route technique, understanding coverage, releases… You can feel that… I’m excited we have him.”
Rhamondre Stevenson on #Patriots QB Drake Maye’s growth:
“He’s expecting more of us. He’s pushing the tempo more. There’s things he’s tryna get better at and we’re being intentional about this spring. I won’t tell you everything, but he’s just getting better in each facet.”
#Patriots LT Will Campbell on how he can help rookie OT Caleb Lomu:
“There’s a lot of guys in the room that can help him… Obviously it’s nice when you have a guy as old as Morgan… He has so much knowledge and he wants to share it… I think it’s awesome for me to be able to tell Caleb some things and for Morgan to tell him more, because Morgan’s seen it all.”
#Patriots EVP of player personnel Eliot Wolf’s message to Eagles GM Howie Roseman during A.J. Brown negotiations:
“If you get a 1 and a 2, go ahead and do it.”
Throughout negotiations, Wolf was unwilling to include a 2027 first-round pick but was open to moving a 2027 second-round pick.
The two sides eventually began centering the deal around a 2028 first-round pick, as that had become the focus of negotiations with the Rams.
Lastly, Wolf originally offered a 2027 seventh-round pick, but the two sides ultimately agreed on a 2027 fifth-round pick as the finishing touch.

The Giants are “actively exploring” trades for DE Kayvon Thibodeaux, per @Connor_J_Hughes.
Those around the NFL have a hard time seeing him go for more than a fourth-round pick.
Thibodeaux could be a potential option for the #Patriots, who are firmly in the edge market.
