@longie_long The game is AD&D Hillsfar. That was our last tweet from 2018. Planned to go A-Z, but only lasted into A. I plan on starting back up soon.
In AD&D Hillsfar, when you can’t pay your tavern tab, you go to the fight pits where you must battle some TMNT knockoff as you awaken from being blackout drunk. Never battle a man with a +12 Hangover, pal.

You have found a healing potion! And 48 gold pieces! I’m leaving this weird hedge maze and going directly to the tavern. Bring me grog and wenches!

AD&D Hillsfar has an endless parade of fetch quests like “retrieve this rare spell component for me,” “rescue the princess,” and “take my damn horse to the glue factory”.

#Coverart for AD&D Hillsfar. Assist the Blue Knight in turning off all the castle lights he left on! Seriously dude, your electricity bill must be outrageous.

AD&D Hillsfar: Hillsfar has been invaded by Maalthir, the self proclaimed First Lord who rules the region with his magic skills and his guards known as the Red Plumes. This Maalthir dude kinda sounds like a dick.

Advanced Dungeons & Dragons: Hillsfar was released for the #NES in 1993. There are two aspects to the game: Arcade action, where the player performs tasks such as searching for treasure & traveling between locations, and Adventure, where the player completes quests.

Ok, time to dust this off & get back to the letter A for #NES games. I’ve got some time tonight, so let’s talk #retrogaming. Up next alphabetically is Advanced Dungeons & Dragons: Hillsfar.
