Class 6 got a shock when they walked into the classroom to find their chairs neatly stacked at the back with a letter, expressing how fed up they were! The children then wrote persuasive letters to the chairs, explaining why they should return to the classroom! ๐โ๏ธ๐ช
Last week, year 5 visited St Mary Magdelene Church, where we met Father James. He told us about the last weeks of Jesus' life and we were reenacted some of the story, which was lots of fun. The children gained so much information and used this in their work the following day.
Yesterday we celebrated World Book Day. One of our favourite activities was sharing books with another class. Here, we can see year 5 reading with year 2, and year 6 reading with year 3. The children loved swapping stories and exploring new books. #WorldBookDay
On Friday, we celebrated Number Day. Throughout Latton Green, children enjoyed exploring numbers and engaging with a variety of fun maths activities and discussions. #NSPCCNumberDay
Last week, Nursery and Reception thoroughly enjoyed the That Bubble Man Show, where they explored bubbles and even got the chance to be inside a bubble! Thank you to @thatbubbleman

This afternoon, Class 6 and Reception came together to share stories. The year 6 children enjoyed the responsibility of reading and asking questions like a teacher would, and the reception children were excited to hear some stories from their buddies.
On Friday, the children had a non-uniform day in aid of Children in Need and the FOLGA. Hereโs some of our classes enjoying the comfort of their fluffy pyjamas and chosen outfits!
This week, Class Two learnt about the importance of Remembrance Day.
In honour of the soldiers, the children made mosaic poppies to decorate their classroom door.
