Newcastle United - Summer transfer window 2026 👏👏👏

After the initial panic early on with key players leaving we have brought players in for the future- all young enough to develop and grow with us as a club and with them all looking amazing for now as well!!

Not only has the club really impressed me with handling and replacing key players but also the new manager who has shown he can be ruthless in the transfer window - and the club clearly back his vision.

An honest assessment of Newcastle United following the 3-1 loss to Everton!

Expectations of NUFC fans felt really low last night.

For the record I don’t think we will be in a relegation battle and have to think some big new signings are coming before the end of the window but this is the assessment for where things are now.

The new manager has his work cut out as he’s only been here 5 minutes and Liverpool is fast approaching. He needs to quickly assess the team and get the weaknesses fixed asap.

Woltemate does not seem he can get a run of games up top even in pre season and with a new manager!!

Be interesting to see where people think we will end up this season….

"Three years ago I came to Newcastle not really knowing what to expect. Today it’s time to say goodbye and it’s hard to find the right words.

I want to start by thanking the club. To the people who work every day and nobody sees at the training ground, everyone who welcomed me and made me feel at home from the very first day. Thank you to the staff and my teammates for believing in me and helping me grow. A special mention to the gaffer, Eddie, who’s been a real guiding figure and who always had my back throughout this journey.

But above all, I want to speak directly to the fans. When things were hard for me, you were there. Not for one day did I feel alone. I felt it every time I was at St James’ Park. That’s something I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Together, we achieved something this city had been waiting decades for. At Wembley that day, it was special, a historic moment we got to share together. To the fans who never stopped believing, who never stopped cheering for this club, who were there in the hardest times, that trophy was for you.

Men’s Mental Health ❤️

@NEenglandupdate - I bottled doing this last year.

I felt like a fraud asking other people to open up about their mental health when I couldn’t do the same myself. In my head, because my struggles weren’t “I don’t want to be here”, I almost convinced myself I shouldn’t speak about mental health at all.

But the reality is mental health affects people in so many different ways, and just because someone’s struggles may look different to somebody else’s doesn’t make them any less real.

So I wanted to open up honestly in this video. If it helps even one person feel less alone, more understood, or encourages someone to speak out, then it’s worth it. And even if not, hopefully it helps normalise people talking more openly about mental health.

Following on from episode 1 we posted yesterday, if anyone is struggling please speak out and talk to somebody you trust. Support is always available.

And if anyone feels comfortable sharing their own story, we’d love to continue this series and help give more people a platform to open up.

Bowen is the stand out option (some fans split given his age) - but Wan-Bissaka may be a good bargain keeping in mind whoever we get to be RB in will know they are likely only cover and it’s often hard to attract players like that.
