@SurvivorAtlas Would you like to cross book these numbers? I will happily buy Circus Master at that relative price for any number up to $50k. Will escrow money.
@cryptob33 @Tango_5555 Also, there is a massive and consequential oral argument coming in the Coinbase case on January 17th, which will be followed within a couple of months by a decision on CB’s motion for judgment on the pleadings. I’m sure RH and his lawyers are watching that closely.
@cryptob33 @Tango_5555 Not my area of expertise at all. I imagine the court will want more detail before issuing a default, but I don’t think any of it matters. Richard is going to answer the complaint eventually. He’s just making things difficult for the SEC, as he should.
@0xMotoku This is such a parade of imaginary horribles take. In reality, nobody with a healthy collateral ratio is ever getting redeemed against. Certainly nobody with the 900% example you use. Almost certainly nobody with even a 300% ratio. FUD.
@MaestroHex@Hexologist31 The guy didn’t buy the top. Also, you can see that he sacrificed for PLS when Hex was still healthy, and he would have had the ability to sell on at least a 2x after PLS launched, regardless of his sac rate. He did fine. And if he didn’t sell, he’s still barely down.
@Pulsenewb420@TheRealKNTX Did you read the complaint? Are you aware of the strength of the “fraud” charges? Do you know what the elements of fraud are?
@gogoeddyo@BrotherKDG You absolutely cannot do that without permission of the court. I suggest calling the clerk’s office before doing anything. It will be very annoying to the judge if the line is clogged with Hexicans who weren’t given permission to attend by phone.
@DannyManDeBo@Jason15659531@STAKEDWEALTH@WhaleHex You can’t get a default judgment without service, my guy. You are asking to bet, but aren’t laying out any terms. Lay out terms and a price and an escrow agent.
@DannyManDeBo@Jason15659531@STAKEDWEALTH@WhaleHex If you can’t get good service on someone, you can’t litigate. And the SEC isn’t going to spend absurd resources to chase Richard to the end of the Earth to serve him. You don’t know what you’re talking about. They’ll likely get an extension and we’ll see what happens.
@cryptocouns3lor @cryptob33 @WhaleHex I’m pretty shocked the SEC has been so sloppy about this, tbh. How hard is it to set a reminder in your calendar to ask the court for more time, which they definitely would have gotten had they not run out the clock. Let’s cross our fingers that the judge is pissed.
@lastbullstandin@WhaleHex False. This is an asymmetric event. If the court gives the SEC more time for service, which is likely but not guaranteed, we are at the status quo. If the court doesn’t, maybe we pump.
@ccfxstudios That’s not at all what’s happening. It has nothing to do with the sufficiency of evidence in the case. It’s 100% about whether they are able to get service on Richard.
