NFBPWC-NYC is a pro choice club and does not support legislating women's bodies or their private medical needs. The potential overturning of Roe v. Wade will not improve the lives of women, children, or families in America.

Separation of church and state is a foundation for this country – and no religious moral consideration can be allowed to inform our legal decisions. It is time to #HoldMenAccountable and #CarefortheChildrenAlreadyBorn
Stop the hypocrisy in democracy! It's acceptable to police women's bodies, but deny nursing moms and lactating employees workplace protections.

If Roe v. Wade is overturned, there will be a drastic economic and financial impact on women. Women shouldn't be denied the right to maintain bodily autonomy.

Six of the ten victims of the Buffalo mass shooting were women. Instead of trying to regulate women's bodies, start focusing on the racist and xenophobic rhetoric that are being perpetuated by our elected officials.

“The majority of the American people believe in defending a woman’s right, her choice, to decide what happens to her own body … The Senate is not where the majority of Americans are.”
— VP Kamala Harris on the Senate failing to advance the Women’s Health Protection Act
As a pro-choice pastor, I’ve always believed that a patient's room is way too small for a woman, her doctor, and the United States government.
I'll always fight to protect a woman's right to choose. And that will never change.
Women will not be panicking over the potential overturning of #RoeVWade. We will be rising up and fighting for our right to choose. You will find us on every corner in America and in every political space.

I hear some on the news saying that women are panicking and scared. I don’t like the word panicking, it sounds hysterical. What we are is pissed off and angry, but also focused and committed. The majority of the country did not want this.
Every woman should be insulted by the #MattGaetz mentality. Women know that education is power and a path to self determination. This mentality seeks to take women down a peg or two so that others can feel dominant. It is deviant and serves only to weaken our society and country.
