Most alarming Halas Hall comment of today came from WR Rome Odunze when asked when his injured foot from last season felt normal again.
"This is my new normal. And it’s not from a standpoint that I’m always in pain but the way my foot broke there’s callouses in there that create a different type of foot structure with those bones — different types of things that kind of shift things around. So my new normal is kind of what I am going into."
Just something to file away.
I don’t know who needs to hear this but if the Chargers oline stays healthy this year, Omarion Hampton and Justin Herbert are both going to have GREAT years. They will be viewed differently after this year. 📈
@ChessLiam I can’t think of another player who consistently can’t play a complete season that is as Elite as he is. He is so good but his 5 years in the league - 14, 10, 15, 12, 15 games. We need 17!
@kellyinvegas When a set of series parlays comes down to the very last game. You are making a bet for the entire cash out amount essentially. He is making a 612k bet today if he doesn’t take the cash out. It’s all or nothing.
A couple NFL fun facts
The San Francisco 49ers were 12-5 in 2025. Did you know Myles Garrett had more sacks than their entire team? Garrett 23 sacks vs 49ers 20 sacks.
The Ravens have high expectations again this year. Their current WR2 played 13 games w/ only 19rec & 224 yds.
While it’s only a press conference, I liked what Joe Brady said about putting DJ Moore later in the progression. It mimics game situations and forces Josh Allen to work through the progression instead of immediately getting to his first answer.
#Texans HC DeMeco Ryans joked today that he'll need to sit EDGE Will Anderson Jr. if he continues to dominate against the offense.
"We have to be able to actually practice... he just keeps wrecking practice."
